The silver lining...

She overheard people in the town pointing to each other that the season is changing…that the clouds are finally parting and gleam of a bright new sun is ready to break and bring new warmth in their lives. But she wonders how long will it take for the sunlight to enter through the window of her life. It’s been dark for ages…cold and still…gloomy and harsh. Would she ever see the new sun that’s being so much talked about? She has waited all her life for the season to change…

Her mother used to tell her about some silver lining in every cloud…but she couldn’t find it in the clouds of her sky. She wasn’t sure if there was a sun in her sky or not…for if it was, then why couldn’t she ever find a silver lining…why seasons never changed for her…why is it so dark? She has waited all her life to see that silver lining…

But then, there must be a sun in everyone’s life…in her life too. God can’t be so unfair. He must have put a sun in her sky too. But where is it? This darkness…these clouds…she never gets to see her sun. She has waited all her life to see the sun…

She is tired of waiting…she is skeptical of its consequence but she won’t give up hope...

Everyone has a sun…every cloud has a silver lining…every season changes…that are the laws of life…her life can’t be so different. Season will change for her too. Dark ages would be over…cold would give way to warmth…stillness would break…happiness would prevail…

Oh! She can see the silver lining… Yes, there is a Sun for her too...
